When preparing for a webinar, it is important to think not only about the content. Arrange the presenter's workplace so that the speaker and the audience are not distracted during the broadcast.
Design the backgroundMake sure that there is a light, flat surface behind the speaker. A banner with the company's logo will be appropriate. The clutter of items spoils the overall impression and distracts participants from the content of the webinar.
Locate the webcam correctlyAttach the camera to the monitor just above the presenter's eye level, so that they raise the head when communicating with the virtual audience. Turn off autofocus.
Adjust the distance so that the audience can see the speaker's head and torso. There should be a clear space above the head. This will allow the presenter to move during the broadcast without falling out of the frame.
Take care of the lightingIt should be bright enough — the image quality depends on it.
Prepare the microphoneFor the webinar we recommend using a stationary microphone. The participants of the webinar will hear all the presenters equally well, and the speakers will be comfortable to present.
Invite a moderator assistantThe assistant will monitor the communication of participants in the chat. The moderator will pass on popular or difficult questions to the speaker, and answer routine ones themself.
